TAC Security (TAC InfoSec Private Limited) has announced that it is now empanelled as an IT Security Auditing Organisation with CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team).
TAC Security is qualified for conducting vulnerability assessment and penetration testing audits of websites, networks and mobile applications while issuing a network for government organisations.
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) is an office within the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. It is the nodal agency to deal with cyber security threats like hacking and phishing. It strengthens security-related defence of the Indian Internet domain.
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) is a national initiative to tackle emerging challenges in the area of information security and country level security risks and vulnerabilities incidents as and when they happen.
The certification process involves online and offline practical test and conducting real world Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing on a web-server. To be qualify you need to report at least 90% of the vulnerabilities present on the given target by CERT-IN.
